As part of the restoration work following the fire at the Almere data center, work will be carried out this coming Thursday, June 25, between 0700 and 1100 hours on the power supply for the UU’s equipment in the space the UU uses at the KPN data center. The purpose of this work is to switch the current temporary power supply in the data center to the regular power supply via the public grid. The temporary power supply was an emergency measure implemented following the fire on May 7.

This work is not expected to impact our IT services, as the power supply for all equipment in the Almere data center on which UU’s services run is redundant, and the work is scheduled for only one of the two power connections.
