END-OF-LIFE FOR ANDROID OS VERSION 13 AT THE UNIVERSITY OF UTRECHT

As of 26 October 2026, Android OS version 13 and earlier will no longer be supported due to their age and the University of Utrecht’s security requirements.
If you have a mobile phone running this version, whether for personal or business use, you are advised to update it to a higher, supported OS version or to replace it. In the case of business devices (provided on loan by Utrecht University), you can raise this with your line manager and a replacement device will be arranged.
If you have a personal device running Android OS version 13 or lower, you are responsible for updating or replacing it yourself.
If a device running Android OS version 13 or lower has not been updated or replaced by 26 October 2026, you will no longer be able to access your own UU data using that device.
