For security reasons we will adjust the DNS settings for public and employee pc’s*, so that only our own DNS servers will be allowed**. Most of these pc’s use these DNS servers via automatic settings. Only users who have manually configured a DNS server, will have to go back to the automatic settings when connecting to the internet.

*) Excluded are research workstations (in a special research VLAN).

**) This adjustment has already taken place some time ago for mobile devices on Eduroam.

This overview shows the current status of universitywide IT services as well as scheduled maintenance. Local services from faculties and departments are not mentioned here. This also applies to University Library systems. If you suspect a malfunction that is not listed here, please contact us
