Maintenance

10 July 2020 / 08:00 - 10 July 2020 / 09:00

Chance of disturbance Friday 10 July between 8:00 and 9:00 am

Due to a national problem with application certificates – which ensure that applications are used securely – a large number of certificates within Utrecht University also need to be replaced as soon as possible. Without a valid certificate, an application will not work. The deadline for this is Saturday July 11th at 20:00 hours.

Applications possibly unreachable for a short period of time: chance of disruption Friday 10 July between 8:00 and 9:00 hours

Friday 10 July between 8:00 and 9:00 a large number of certificates will be replaced. These are applications where you need to login with Solis-id and password. Until the certificate is replaced, the application will be temporarily unavailable.

If you experience problems, wait five minutes and try to connect again. After 9:00 am most applications will probably work again. Still can’t do it after that? Then look for the status on this page: https://its-dashboard.sites.uu.nl/en/ or contact the ICT Servicedesk: https://www.uu.nl/it-servicedesk.

Replaced certificate Eduroam: pop-up

The Eduroam wireless network will be adjusted on Thursday July 9th at 20:00 hours. On your phone or laptop you can get a notification about the new certificate. This depends on the brand of your device: especially Apple users (iPhone and iPad) will notice this by a pop-up that appears.

Do you get to see a notification? Then you can indicate that you trust the certificate – even if the message says that the certificate is ‘not trusted’. With this you accept the new certificate and can use Eduroam again. You only have to do this once.
